If you are anything like me, once you learn how to prepare a specific meal you will cook it at least once a week. It is the nature of my cooking approach.
I wasn’t actually aware of it until I asked L what he wanted for his birthday dinner and he looked at me pityingly and murmured “a salad”.
What?!?! No beef stroganoff? No chicken and white wine sauce? Not even moussaka?
Nope, just a salad. And so began a lot of fib debunking. The main fib being “Yes Gi you are a great cook”.

Thankfully my clients are extremely supportive and a fair number of them/ you brought in cookbooks in order to save me from my somewhat limited (yet highly tasty in my opinion) meals. My new found love is making sauces! It turns out they are easy peasy and don't actually require much time! Therefore Teriyaki sauce is now sprinkled on everything from noodles to salads - there is just no stopping me! Don't worry, I am learning how to mix up more but in the meantime it is better than my sour creamed meals! Once again, thank Oh She Glows for this super simple and terribly tasty sauce! | TERIYAKI SAUCE:
