Despite what magazines, the constant barrage of television adverts and celebrity 'insights' tell us - food is not the enemy. In fact it is quite the opposite.
Over the past year I have been watching very insightful documentaries discussing the impact of food on our lives. It has been a significant learning curve and I have come to appreciate that so long as I care about what I put in my body, my body will look after me. No matter if I am size 6 or a size 12.
Eating organic foods has made a surprisingly significant difference and reducing my red meat intake has given me so much more energy. The latter of these two has come as a huge shock as I LOVE steak.
I love most food (mussels I am afraid are not a food-friend) and feel that my food-husband would be rich Mediterranean foods such as sun-dried tomatoes, halloumi and olives... my mouth is watering at the thought.
